Fit City AVL Week aims to showcase how Ashevilles independent fitness ecosystem provides support to help keep our communities staying active for a lifetime.

Goals of Fit City AVL Week

  • Encourage Movement: Motivate residents of all ages and ability levels to utilize our world-class greenways and park systems.

  • Support Local Business: Highlight our local fitness studios, gyms, and wellness practitioners by encouraging "community open house" events.

  • Foster Connection: Use physical activity as a tool to bring neighbors together in our public spaces.
